# Billing and usage (/billing)



There is one Peeko plan. The only thing you choose is how many events a month it covers, and you can
change that whenever you like.

Every feature is on every size: unlimited sites, unlimited team seats, AI crawler tracking, goals,
funnels, revenue, search, share links, the command line and MCP. Nothing is held back for a bigger
step.

## The sizes [#the-sizes]

Yearly is two months free at every size. Above ten million events a month there is nothing to pick
on the slider: ask at the address on the [privacy policy](https://usepeeko.com/privacy) and we will
sort something out.

History is kept for three years, on every size.

## The trial [#the-trial]

Fourteen days, no card. It starts when you create your account and it covers one site; every paid
size includes unlimited sites.

When it ends nothing is deleted and nothing stops recording. Your dashboard asks you to choose a size
before it opens again, and everything is where you left it once you do.

## What counts as an event [#what-counts-as-an-event]

Three things, added together over the month.

* **Page views**, one per page opened.
* **Outbound clicks**, which Peeko records automatically.
* **Custom events** you named yourself, with `data-peeko-event` or `window.peeko.event(...)`.

**AI crawler hits are never counted.** Every hit from every bot is free, on every size. A page a
crawler reads is not a page a person read, and charging for it would be charging you for other
people's robots.

Goals, funnels and revenue are not metered separately either. A goal that watches a custom event
counts that event once, as an event.

The month is the **UTC calendar month** and it resets at midnight UTC on the first. The usage ring in
the sidebar shows where you are, split by kind, with your busiest sites and the reset date.

## Passing your limit [#passing-your-limit]

You are emailed at 80 percent and again at 100 percent, and a banner appears in the app from 80
percent.

**Nothing stops.** Peeko keeps recording every page view, click and event on your sites, and your
dashboard stays exactly as it is. The warning is a heads up, not a cut off. If the new level is your
normal one, move the slider up.

Only owners are emailed, since only an owner can act on it. During a trial no warning **email** is
sent, though the in app banner still appears: a trial has a real hundred thousand event allowance
like any other size.

## Paying, changing and canceling [#paying-changing-and-canceling]

Checkout and the billing portal are Stripe's own, so Peeko never sees a card. Only the team owner can
start a subscription, change the size or open the portal.

Changing size is the same slider, at any time. Canceling happens in the portal: your plan then runs
to the end of the period you have already paid for and is not renewed. Part of a month or a year is
not refunded.

If a payment fails, Stripe retries it and your dashboard stays open in the meantime, with a note
asking you to update the card.

**Nothing is deleted when a subscription ends.** Peeko keeps recording your traffic and keeps your
history, and only your retention window ever deletes anything. Everything is there when you
subscribe again.

What stops is everything that reads it. The dashboard is locked, [MCP](/mcp) and
[the command line](/cli) stop returning that team's sites, and every [share link](/share-links) it
published answers 404. If you have wired Peeko into something else, that is the part to know about:
a lapsed plan is a broken integration, not just a locked screen.
